Traditional liturgical Anglican worship service with Holy Communion. Morning tea is served following the service.
Contemporary worship gathering with a children's programme during school terms. Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month. Morning tea is served following the service.
** On the last Sunday of every month, a combined service will be held at 9.30am in place of the 8.30am/10am services **

Holy Communion service on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month at Acacia Park Rest Home for the residents and others who wish to attend.
Kids are a fundamental part of the life and ministry of Omokoroa Community Church and we are passionate about helping them grow in knowing, loving and serving God, by teaching the gospel in a safe and fun environment.
We strive to offer children and youth a ministry that complements the primary role of the parents and caregivers in nurturing their children in the Christian faith.
Kidzone is our Sunday School programme for school-aged children. It is run by a team of volunteers who are dedicated to teaching our children the love of Christ, the truth of the Bible, and the joy of Christian fellowship. Kidzone meets in the church hall following a time of worship at the 10.00am service during school terms. The program includes fun games, morning tea, bible teaching and a craft/activity. A less formal programme is provided during school holidays and on Easter Sunday/Christmas Day. On the first of Sunday of each month, the children are invited to join their families in celebrating the Communion service. Whether or not they receive communion is at the discretion of their caregivers.
I-girlz (formerly ICONZ 4 Girlz) is a Christ-centred programme for girls aged 8-11 years, which incorporates the Christian message with lots of fun, adventure and learning. The programme offers skills and values based activities in a safe and supportive environment, and seeks to engage and develop girls physically, socially and spiritually. Girls earn badges to recognise their involvement and achievements. Sessions run 6.00pm-7.30pm on Monday evenings during school terms at the church hall. The programme is led by local mums, Sally Benton, Carolyn Keith, Tanya Van Heerden and Nikki Mee.

These are a vital way we connect with the wider family within our church on a regular basis to study the Word of God and pray together as well as fellowship. Our Prayer Group meets on Friday mornings to pray together at 8.30am – 9.30am in the Prayer Room at the OCC. All are welcome to participate in prayer for our church family, our community, and for those in our wider world. Contact Gordon 07 549 1495.
A team of musicians and singers lead and encourage worship during the morning services. A regular weekly meeting is held to develop musical skills, practice new songs, organise the music for the services and enjoy a time of worship and fellowship together.
Are you keen to meet new people and get out of the house for some social fun?
Come along to Omokoroa’s Friendship Club – every Friday morning 10am-12.30pm at Omokoroa Community Church.
Morning tea and lunch provided. Games, chitchat, get to know others in your community, make new friends! Just $4 (includes a raffle).

We know it can be challenging to find your way into a church community, so we want to make it a bit easier and get to know you better. Perhaps you've been coming along for a little while and you like what we offer - you're ready to make Omokoroa Community Church your home. Or perhaps you just want to find out more about the heartbeat of our church and who we are. Every six months or so we host a lunch for newcomers - it's a great opportunity to meet other people who are new to the church, as well as our leaders of the various functions within the church. It is also an opportunity to ask questions about how we operate and what we believe and teach. For details of the next newcomers lunch, please contact Tanya at the church office.
